SBG Australia is a first class Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Kickboxing and Fitness Academy in Sydney's Inner West. As a member of SBG International, the world's largest functional martial arts organisation, we're affiliated with over 50 academies teaching the principles of "Aliveness" across the globe. Head Coach Ben Power (3rd degree BJJ Blackbelt) first encountered SBG concepts in 2003 when his good friend John Kavanagh (SBG Ireland founder, Head Coach to UFC ‘champ champ’ Conor McGregor) hosted SBG President Matt Thornton for a series of seminars in Dublin. We are excited to finally bring SBG's fundamentals based curriculum and modern, functional training methods to Australia. When you join SBG you're joining more than just a gym, you're joining a worldwide tribe!
