What were you fighting for? What was your ‘why’?

"My warrior journey began a little over 5 years ago before my first child was one. I split with her mother and ended up homeless. I fell into a dark place with drugs and alcohol. Every day taking countless amounts of tablets and drinking what ever I could afford or Rob. One day I was talking with a friend at the time who was upto the same sorta stuff as myself who hadn't seen his child in years and I didn't want that to be me so I started trying to change my life around a spent a couple of weeks figuring out a plan of action to change my life, gain a skill that can get me employed in an actual career not just a job and get out of the homeless system. I decided to try and become a barber and started working with the key workers available to me at the time and within a year I'd finished my barbers training and secured an apartment for myself. For the next few years I built myself up mentally but my physical side fell apart so I lost all my extra weight through diet and simple cardio, but I needed more, I needed something grand to top off where I came from all those years ago to where I am today a statement to show my kids that with the right mindset and hard work that anything is possible."

What did you get out of the program physically?

"I loved starting everyday out with training no matter how I felt, getting out of bed it was all worth it for the high you get walking off the mats after a tough session."

What were some of the mental and emotional outcomes you experienced?

"It gave me the confidence to stand tall and follow through with commitments no matter how hard it is."

What did you learn about yourself?

"I learnt that with an open mind and the right amount of effort anything is possible."

Did Warrior Training lead to any long term changes in your life, and if so what were they?

"Warrior Training showed me that with consistency and dedication that only positive results can come back."

What would you say to someone thinking about starting the Warrior Training Program?

"If you can make the training times in the mornings do it. It will be the best decision of your life. The changes physically and mentally can't be achieved any other way plus the high from the walk to the cage and if you get the win can not be replicated by any drug its the best dragon I've ever chased and will proudly chase for the rest of my life."
