Can you lose weight from MMA training?

MMA is an intense cardiovascular activity, similar to a HIIT-style workout, MMA looks to work the full body at mixed levels of intensity. HIIT workouts are bursts of high-intensity exercise, followed by varied periods of low-intensity active rest or complete rest which allows the body to work harder for longer periods of time without tiring.
